Job description:
* Follow with traffic rules and regulations
* Drive trucks
* Inspect and ensured vehicle supplies and equipment are in safe working order, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes.
* Report problems or accidents to managemen
* Collect payments
* Load and unloaded vehicles
* Check loads against shipping papers
* Get signed receipts for delivered materials
* Turn in money collected
* maintain vehicle logs.
* Greet customers
* Have a clean driving record
* Have driver's license Class A.
* Provide good customer service
* Return undelivered packages to warehouse
* Meet delivery schedules
* Follow all safety policies and procedures
* Decide efficient delivery routes
* Inspect vehicles
Job requirements
* Applicants must have at least a High school diploma or equivalent
* Applicants must have at least 2 years experience
* Applicants must hold a Class A/CDL driving license
* Applicants must hold Class A CDL
* Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs
* Applicant must be able to read, write add and subtract

Requirements
This position is for our local delivery driver. It intails making deliveries to our local customers Monday - Friday as well as making some deliveries outside our local area. This position will have our driver at home most every night but there could be a few exceptions when driver would need to make a delivery outside the area and may be out for a night here or there.
This position pays hourly for all local runs and will pay miliage when going out past the 100 mile radius. We also pay a drop fee to the driver for making two or more deliveries on same run.
We are looking for a responsible driver who will treat our equipment and our customers with respect and who is looking to grow with our growing company.
This position will also offer vacation pay after first year of employment as well as some health, dental and vision benefit options.
About the Company
Freedom Axle is located in Valdosta, Ga and supplies trailer axles and trailer parts the the light and medium duty trailer industry. We manufactuer trailer axles and trailer fenders, we kit some products to make it easier for our customer. We have been in the trailer industry for over thirty years and the Valdosta, Georgia location was opened in 2019.
